Tr.udy - Your Vocabulary Trainer app for iPhone and iPad

Learn only the words in your foreign language you are currently interested in.

The aim of Tr.udy is for you to understand foreign language texts by learning the vocabulary, the words that is, in advance, so that you can understand the text as a whole. Constantly looking up words in a dictionary is too distracting. Conclusion: learn first, then understand.

You can also take the foreign language text in question from a website, from a document or from an email. You can either copy the text or ... photograph the text with your webcam or ... simply type in the text or ... record the text using voice recognition.

Next, choose the source and target language, the source language usually being the language you are learning, and the target language your mother tongue.

The text is analysed, translated and displayed as a list of vocabulary. Learn the vocabulary and test your knowledge by covering it up. Mark learned words as "learned". These will no longer appear in future translations. By saving the vocabulary you can always return to the words and carry on learning them later.
